2. There are many legends about the origin of Engchun / Wingchun. However, no supporting evidence has been found about the origin. The only available sources have been through oral traditions which have been passed down by many forefather & masters.
3. There may be discrepancies or disagreements, however this information is based on knowledge we obtained. Please note that this information is our opinion and it is not meant to discredit or dishonor others lineage or anyone who may feel differently.
4. This lineage chart is not meant to be for marketing purposes, but is to help others understand our lineage. The red flag lineage is also noted so people will have a better understanding where our lineage came from in relation to theirs.
5. This lineage information is what we’ve obtained and wanted to share. It’s not meant to make one lineage appear better/purer/superior than another.
